Triangle Bog

July 24th

Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp

I’ve never left Triangle Bog feeling that I had seen it all. If anything, each visit has done the opposite. The place changes because I change. Every return carries the memory of the last, and those memories sharpen what I notice next.

Triangle Bog asks for a slower way of seeing. It doesn't reward haste. What first appears to be moss, water, and shadow gradually separates into individual lives, each with its own story. Looking becomes less about identifying what is there and more about allowing it to reveal itself.

Then, on the walk out, another quiet surprise. Three leaves. Three almost otherworldly berries. Maianthemum trifolum. It isn't a grand discovery so much as a gentle reminder that no place is ever finished. The deeper your understanding grows, the farther the horizon moves. Every answer opens another question, and every return expands the boundaries of wonder.
